What's a Buyer’s Agent?

A Buyer’s Agent works on behalf of the buyer to find and facilitate the purchase of property and are paid for their services by the buyer.

 

What's the First Step?

First, we'll have a one hour consultation with you to identify your requirements and which one of our Licensed Salespeople will work best with you. We will discuss the benefits of employing a Buyer's Agent and what Property Ventures can offer you. Please note that there is no obligation for you to accept our services after this initial consultation.

 

What Next?

Once you decide to employ us as your Buyer's Agent, we will discuss our fee structure and sign a Buyer's Agency Agreement with you. We'll also ask you to fill out our matching criteria form - this will enable us to match a suitable property to your criteria and you'll have the opportunity to receive updates on specific properties before they even hit the market.

The information you provide in this form will be used only for the purpose of Property Ventures sourcing specific properties that match your buying criteria and to send you our weekly newsletter if you elect to subscribe.

We will carry out many actions on your behalf through the course of a Buyer's Agency Agreement. Some of these duties or actions include, but are not limited to, the below:

  • Locating and identifying properties that may be regarded suitable or appropriate for you;
  • Investigating and collecting information as instructed by you in respect of the properties
    identified;
  • Conducting comparative sales analysis and reports;
  • Organising the inspection of properties identified either directly with prospective Vendors or through
    their Agents as may be appropriate;
  • Negotiating or assisting with negotiations on any offers you may wish to make in respect of any property identified;
  • Drafting any Sale and Purchase Agreements that may be required by you in respect of any property identified;
  • Assisting and consulting with lawyers, accountants, or financial brokers as required and authorised by you;
  • Providing on-going support throughout the process and free education through our Property Podcasts. 

You will also have the opportunity to view our current listings or be made aware of any pre-market properties that we have on our books.
